And They Wander… the world.
Everyone has a dream, and ours is to conquer the globe, one country at a time. Hi! We are And They Wander, a family of three travelers from Malaysia. Unfortunately we are not full-time travelers (for now!), but that is the ultimate goal. We travel when time and funds allow us to, and that is about two to four times annually.
After my husband, Hafiz, and I, Imanie, got married, we have made it a point to travel as much as we possibly can. And having a child has certainly not stopped us from doing so. As a matter of fact, it makes us want to get out and explore the world even more. We believe that the more we travel, the more we’ll learn – not only about our planet and the myriad of things it has to offer, but also about each other, and most importantly, about ourselves.
We have always loved sharing our journeys with others, hence the birth of And They Wander, a platform to document all our adventures and excursions as a family.

Hi, I’m Hafiz! I’m the father and husband of the family. I have a background in electrical engineering, and I now work as a system engineer for an oil and gas company. The automotive world is what excites me most. That, and playing pranks on my often unamused wife. I count myself as a city person – I love the hustle and bustle of the city life, the skyscrapers that come with it, and the modernity of it all.
Imanie
Hi, I’m Imanie! Mom of two boys – one being a twenty something year old man! I am a fashion marketing and merchandising graduate who has spent the past few years working as a stylist at a local e-commerce company before deciding to start up my own little clothing brand. I love getting lost in a good book, all things cheese related and The Walking Dead series. Unlike my husband, I am not much of a city person. I’d choose the quiet, laid back island life over anything, anytime and every time.

My mom calls me the Energizer bunny because I am just always so full of energy. I am a four year old who loves to dance, climb, and explore. Just like my daddy, I love and get excited over anything with wheels. My most favorite part of traveling is being able to go on all the different kinds of transportations! Another thing I absolutely adore is water – I’d stay in the ocean or pool all day, everyday if i could.
